This time we want to travel to Cappadocia, where one day was habitation for Hittites, full of history and enjoyable to visit. This region is a place where nature and history integrates. While geographical events created fairy chimneys – the people carved houses and churches inside these chimneys. Later on decorated them with frescoes in this historical process, bringing the traces of civilizations for thousands of years to present. Written history of this city, where human settlement dates back to the Paleolithic era, begins with the Hittites. Hosting trade colonies throughout history and founding commercial and social bridges between countries, Cappadocia was one of the important junctions of the Silk Road.

What to do in A Short Trip To Cappadocia 2022 ?
There are so many fascinating things to see in this city that you could spend a lifetime here and still discover new places. The main ‘must-see’ attractions are the two large open-air museums and the best of the underground cities. However, there are also many small, all-but-forgotten rock-cut churches and monasteries, splendid hiking trails, several spectacular caravanserais and many dramatic rock formations well worth going out of your way to visit.

Pottery Kebab
In many restaurants, the pottery kebab is served with sealed dough and you can experience to break the neck of the pot with a butchers knife.
Turkish Ravioli(MANTI)
Turkish Ravioli is smaller than the Italian ravioli. The hardest part is cutting them in very small pieces and put the minced meat into it which has onion, black and red pepper. Preparations takes long and please respect the work done as you fill your spoon with Turkish Ravioli since it may have taken at least 5 minutes to make one spoon full of ravioli if we add the dough, cut and ingredient preparations.
Aside
The easiest but sweetest dessert of Cappadocia; Aside! It is a very delicious combination of flour, water and grape molasses that are cooked slowly in a pan; served hot! It can be consumed cool as well but the hotter the better.
Local Wine
Wine was first made in Black Sea and was carried to Cappadocia by the ancestors of Hittites. Volcanic terruar of Cappadocia region really enriches the character of the grapes and the cave cellars are heaven for aging the wine produced in this region. After centuries of production, Cappadocia region has a couple of indigenous grapes which will be very different than the wine you have been drinking so far.
